“The assets that underline the insurance policies have changed substantially and the insurance policies need to change accordingly.” He believes it’s a fascinating time to be in our industry.
Although technology has not met expectations -cars had to be fully autonomous in 2018 according to industry predictions-, the future is bright.
Brian says that even though the environment has changed, the potential of technology for the industry is unparalleled.
He discusses with James and Rob how much the trends in the auto insurance industry are migrating towards faster and more customized conditions depending on the client.
He emphasizes that customer preferences around mobility are always changing. He states that insurance today is structured in hard lines -personal and commercial- so as a solution to address the needs of new mobility companies they created a product -Mobilitas- for the subscription vehicle market. His conclusions point to a customer-centric future in insurance.
As the industry changes and technology feeds that change, there will be new forms of insurance and customer-centric policies to answer to the unique needs of each customer. .
